Shadow Of The Erdtree’ Release And Preload Times For Launch

FromSoftware knows you want to plan your absence from work or school to play Elden Ring’s Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, and a week before launch here, they have listed the global release times for launch so you can act accordingly.

We have times for each region and each platform as show in the image above, which can be seen in larger form here. But you can just read the list below if you want as well. I’m bolding America, since that’s most of my readership.

Preload: 48 hours before launch time on PlayStation, no preload for Xbox or PC, must download and install at launch time.

Release Times:

• PDT – Console: June 20, 9 PM, PC: 3 PM
• CDT – Console: June 20, 11 PM, PC: 5 PM
• EDT – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: June 20, 11 PM
• COT – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: June 20, 5 PM
• BRT – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: June 20, 7 PM
• BST – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: June 20, 11 PM
• CEST – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: 12 AM
• MSK – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: 1 AM
• EEST – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: 1 AM
• SAST – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: 12 AM
• AST – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: 1 AM
• GST – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: 2 AM
• UTC+8 – Console: June 21, 12 AM, PC: 6 AM

You may notice a pattern here in that every single region minus two US timezones has a console launch at 12 AM on June 21. That means you can preload on PlayStation only on June 19 at 12 AM for most regions.

PC release, meanwhile, is all over the place due to how distribution works there, I guess, so it will range from late night to early morning depending on where you live. This means all PC regions are launching at the same moment globally, as opposed to midnight local time for console which spreads that out more.
