Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 price leaks weeks before launch

We are a few weeks away from the official announcement of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but the possible Galaxy Z Fold 6 pricing has leaked already. The pricing of Samsung’s upcoming flagship foldable phone has leaked for the US market, and it looks like we are getting a price hike this year.

Galaxy Z Fold 6 pricing could be $100 higher than Galaxy Z Fold 5

According to a report from SmartPrix, the pricing of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will start at $1,899.99 in the US for the 256GB variant. That is $100 higher than the pricing of the 256GB version of its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The pricing of 512GB and 1TB variants of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is reportedly $2,019.99 and $2,259.99, respectively.

So, all the storage variants of the upcoming phone appear to be $100 costlier than the Galaxy Z Fold 5. This could upset potential buyers, as $1,900 is not something one usually spends on a smartphone. Moreover, it could become a tough pill to swallow if the reports of Samsung using the same cameras from the Galaxy Z Fold 5 on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 are true.

The story continues after our Galaxy Z Fold 5 review video below.

What can you expect from Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications?

Previous reports indicate that Samsung will slightly change the Galaxy Z Fold 6’s dimensions compared to its predecessor to bring a broader cover screen. The phone will also be thinner and lighter and could have a titanium frame. The internal screen will also be wider and shorter. It could continue to feature an IPX8 rating.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. It has the same 10MP selfie camera, 50MP primary rear camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP telephoto camera (3x optical zoom) as the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Reports claim that Samsung will power the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with a 4,600mAh battery and 25W fast charging. It will likely have stereo speakers, a capacitive fingerprint reader, and wireless charging. The leaked design reveals that it will not come with a built-in S Pen silo.
